How to turn photos into one PDF

How to put JPEG or PNG photos into one PDF: page order, A4 or Letter, phone scans, and the formats this browser converter will not accept.

How to combine photos into a PDF

  1. Export HEIC or RAW photos as JPEG or PNG

This converter accepts JPG, JPEG, and PNG only. On iPhone, use a JPEG export from Photos if the file is HEIC.

  2. Add the images and set the order

Open JPG to PDF and add up to 50 images. The first image becomes page one. Use Earlier or Later if the order is wrong.

  3. Choose a page size

Fit to image keeps the photo’s shape. A4 or Letter places each image on a standard page with margins, which is better for printing or a form that expects those sizes.

  4. Download and check the PDF

Open the PDF before you send it. If it is too large to email, compress that PDF afterward and keep this copy until you have checked the smaller one.

A photo packet is an order problem

Receipts, ID photos, and phone scans often need to become one PDF because a form will not take a folder of pictures. Add them in the order the recipient expects. Earlier and Later change that order without starting over. There are no image thumbnails on this page, so use filenames you can recognise.

Fit to image is the right page size for a screenshot or a receipt. A4 and Letter are better when someone will print the file or attach it where those sizes are expected.

What stays on the device, and what you should do elsewhere

Images are processed in the browser, up to 50 MB per file each and 200 MB total together. Each side can be up to 8192px on a side. Closing the tab before you download discards the PDF.

This is not a photo editor, an OCR app, or a scanner. If a picture is sideways, rotate it in Photos or another app first. If you need Microsoft Word layout, do not start from a photo of the page. If the finished PDF is only one of several documents, merge it with those PDFs afterward.

How to turn photos into one PDF FAQ

Will the PDF include GPS or camera data from the photo?

Usually no. When the browser can redraw the image, GPS and camera EXIF are not copied into the PDF. If that redraw fails, the original image bytes may be embedded instead.

Can I mix JPG and PNG files?

Yes. Each accepted image becomes one page. SVG, GIF, HEIC, and RAW files are not accepted.

When is this the wrong tool?

Do not use it for a designed Word document, a password-protected PDF, or a photo you still need as a separate image. Convert Word with the Word to PDF tool, and use Reorder PDF Pages when the PDF already exists and only the page sequence is wrong.
